“Writing, managing and evaluating successful funding bids”
Applying for research funding presents a number of challenges that significantly impact academic career plans and development. Competition, limited resources and the pressure to meet funding requirements may create a highly selective environment, making it increasingly difficult for academics to secure promotions and establish networks.
In response to these challenges, our workshop will explore the current funding landscape, and provide guidance from experienced academics who have successfully secured external funding. We also aim to build an interdisciplinary network within the academic community for future collaborations.
This one-day workshop will invite PhD students, early-career, mid-career and experienced researchers, funding bodies, communities and organisations interested in advancing research and knowledge exchange.
